There's a new portrait painter in town

I have recently opened a studio in Jackson, Mississippi, and I am taking portrait commissions.

So far, I've made paintings of pets and children. You are welcome to browse through the posts to view them.

Here's a little bit about my background. I learned how to paint portraits at Mississippi State University where I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting. During the course, I traveled to Italy and studied art there one summer. Upon graduating from Mississippi State University in 2006, I moved to Edinburgh, Scotland, to get a Master of Fine Arts degree in painting. After completing the course in 2009, I moved back to my home in Mississippi. Now I am an abstract painter as well as a portrait painter.
